After 2 decades in the barn I final got time for my 1968 XL fastback. Rebuilt 390 now 410 cui with mild cam. Rally 14†Torino wheels and red striped tires. Staying rat rod style for now. After 66 Chrysler Imperial gets out of body shop maybe XL will be next. Love her as is though. Less to worry about, take her anywhere. Dirt roads or the turnpike what a ride. My dad & brother all had fords. Our 65 LTD was my first driver at 16. Bro.had 63 Galaxie 2 door navy blue with a 428.
Lots of fast times back then. Ready for repeat in retirement just not as fast. When Imperial is done it will be a hard call on which to drive.
