I retired from the United States Navy Submarine Force after 22 years of Service is kind of one of my gifts to myself. I was always a car guy growing up, coming from a family of car guys. So it was always a dream of mine to own a classic like this.
Luckily, my beautiful wife is very supportive of me and even though she says riding in my old car is like going camping (no amenities), our little joke, she does enjoy cruising with our two pups with the top down. When I was looking for a car, I knew it would be a Ford, always was a die hard Ford guy until recently. But wanted to do something different than the usual Mustang/Fairlane/Torino thing. So my search began, not really knowing what I was looking for until I saw her. When I did, I knew. This was it. This was the car for me. So 3 years, a complete power train rebuild later. Here she is.
