I'm a 54 year old man with a passion for old Fords, but a disability keeps me from performing some things I used to do. I found my '72 LTD sitting on a mom and pop used car lot in January 2004 and had to have it. It is a true survivor with 94,000 miles with a glove box full of well preserved paperwork of original owners purchase order, maintenance records, etc. Even the owners manual and window sticker.
She now has 100,000 miles and everything still works,even the factory AM-8 track and ac. The 400 2 barrel under the hood has not been touched and runs smooth and strong. However, the vinyl top needs replacing and a small amount of rust in the rear quarters will be fixed. All in good time, but for now I'll just enjoy her the way she is.
