1970 Galaxie XL Convertible For Sale

1970 Galaxie XL Convertible For Sale I’m selling my 1970 Ford Galaxie XL Convertible for $15,000 with 61,000 original miles. I purchased this car in 2010. I am its 4th owner. I quickly discovered plentiful rust and decay under its red paint and began a 3-year restoration. While it’s not Concourse quality, it is in very nice restored condition. Its rust free, always garaged, rarely touches a wet road, and never goes out in winter conditions or on previously-salted roads. I rebuilt the engine, making it much more powerful. Most mechanicals were replaced with NOS or new parts. 5 large rusted sheet metal parts were replaced with NOS parts while all other body rust was professionally removed/restored, and most engine bay metal was refinished and powder-coated. If you understand vintage car restoration, you are better off buying this car from me than trying to restore one like it yourself. In other words, $15,000 well below the investment I made in this fun and fully-functional convertible. My price includes a custom fitted California car cover with cable & lock; Flat Stoppers for winter storage, as well as some spare parts that include original wheel covers, some chrome trim, tail lights, extra rear windows, etc.
